Warren Kotter: They take anyone who proves themselves a great actor. For example they won't take someone with lots of experience but isn't good at all. Auditions will be fine! You just have to calm yourself. One of the reasons everyone does poor is because of the nerves, they cause you to lose focus and you tend to stumble during your audition. During you're audition I am assuming you will have to memorize a script and perform it. After they will most likely partner you up either in partners or a group to test your ability to communicate with others. This is important because they will want to see that you can work well with others because acting requires a team, not yourself. Depending on when the auditions are you can audition for the second half of the school year (if auditions in around January and you will be notified a week after. In conclusion just go try you're best and best of luck to you!...Show more
Rosalba Lingner: I have friends in a performing arts sc! hool where I live. Yes, they take people with no experience. During auditions for acting, they'll have you only on the stage reciting a skit given to you (online prob) and maybe have a group of people act out a scenario too. You can't transfer in the middle of a year, you must wait for the next auditions to take place
