Ramon Dahlheimer: I was in Naval Aviation for 21 years. ( Aircraft/ jet engine mechanic ) ( also Helos ). Worked MOSTLY on Pratt&Whitney engines. Loved it ! At times, I was in COMPLETE Jet engine overhaul. Retired from the Navy, went to college ( GI Bill ), and continued to work in that field.Was gone from home ( wife, & 3 kids ) for long periods of time. ( VietNam ).Retired from a major aircraft Mfgr., after 20 more years. I now build big American V-Twin custom motorcycles. The more education/knowledge you have, the better.
