Degree in finance or economics?

Jude Kennelly: Finance will probably help you get into the banking world, although you still could with econ. Typically you have to start in i-banking if you want to get into a hedge fund and that is extremely competitive and you will be a slave working 100 hours per week for your first two years. You better make sure that's what you want to do. Either degree will work though, as long as you kill it in school, internships, extracurricular, and interviews.
