Marya Fehn: since you can't paint it you could find a queen/king size flat sheet with the print/color that you like and hang it on a wall with some thumb tacks. that's what i did when i was in college to give my room some character. i bought some wooden letters on ebay to spell out my son's name and hung that on the wall. they also have those removable decals that you can put on the wall. target had a whole collection of bedroom stuff in a car theme that i bought for my son's play room, i'm sure they have stuff for girls too. maybe hang some of those little christmas lights along the tops of the walls, or they sell decorative lights now, with butterflies/flowers/etc....Show more
Idell Syed: There are things you can do even though you're renting! We were renting when I had my first daughter and I wondered the same thing. I chose a theme from Pottery Barn Kids, got the crib bedding, rug, curtain rod, and cute eyelet window coverings while they were on sale, but really! you can go anywhere that has a cute theme that you like. The key for us was the rug to "anchor" the room (and theme) and window coverings. The colors were pale pink and green, so I made sure that accents like the changing pad and diaper caddy cover were in those colors. I put white baskets in her bookcase with liners that matched the bedding. So I didn't end up having to paint our white walls and then we patched up the holes from the curtain rods when we moved out. Another thing you can do is put up shelves and put framed pics and other decorative things in your color scheme on them so that the room looks pulled together without having to do too much that you have to fix upon move out. Good luck and have fun!!!...Show more
Emile Okafor: First, settle on on why you're working for vice chairman! What college matters do you care approximately? Do you have any previous adventure in management? Are you a reliable communicator who ought to deliver matters from the student ! physique to the significant? once you answer those questions, ! you are able to jot down a speech and layout election posters. finally, in case you like a slogan: "do not enable everyone fool ya, Your vote belongs to Julia"
Joni Ziak: Whats your theme? I also rent. I got this stuff called "Ticky Tacky" to put things on the walls. It holds a lot but comes off easy. Great for dorms too which is how I remembered it.My daughter has a bug theme. We have butterflies, lady bugs, fireflies (that glow) and a few others on the ceiling and the walls. I also got these cute curtains that have dragon flies and little worm looking things. Her bedding is in the colors but not bug prints. If you have a craft/home improvement store look for "removable" boarder paper. It is almost like window cling for your walls. Stays on but comes off easy....Show more
Adelle Weight: giant pop flowers cut out of colored postor board -- 2 peices -- one the petals and one the middle. you can do amazing things with poster board.
Gale Hartt: I have seen s! ome really cute Wall Stickers, you can take them with you when you go. Otherwise, try gingham. Go to a fabric store, pick up a pretty gingham, maybe in different colors. Cut lenghths, hem top and bottom, and voila, curtains.Cut a lenghth, hem the bottom, put between the spring and the mattress of the crib, and voila, bed skirt.Cut shapes of flowers, use contrasting colors. buy some liquid starch, paint the starch on the shapes, stick to the wall. add a little more starch to your paint brush and paint over the top. It will peel right off when you are ready to change the decor, you can make a sun, flowers, leaves, even birds using the fabric. You can make coordinating items like mobiles, etc. This is not alot of money as the gingham is inexpensive, often even available in remnants. You can also decorate by hanging some of the pretty outfits your baby gets on to small hangers, add some stick on hooks, and use the outfits for display.Congrats on the new baby!...Show more
