Which laundry detergent is 100% fragrant free?

Clinton Quant: just buy pure soap (make sure the pack has no ingredients that are fragrance) , and grate it into flakes- once upon a time everyone used soap flakes to do laundry, but packaged detergent has made us too lazyI use "sunlight" brand pure laundry soap, but not sure if its available where you are (I'm in Australia)...Show more

Somer Distilo: i had to do this once as well i went and bought draft found at target and walmart it is excellent and recommended for newborns, so yes even adults can use it. my aunt does and it helps. i promise once use this product u will love it. use liquids as well no more powder it doesn't wash out all the way.So u are left with the detergent in your clothing. also i would also try gain Original i did and that is what i am using now i am allergic to the tide big time. so my big had me try the gain Original and i haven't used anything else since....Show more

Ronnie Barcus: My only concern about powdered laundry detergent was! to keep it out of the reach of our small daughter. I caught her playing with it in the big container as if it were play sand. So I began buying my detergent in smaller boxes, which I could store up high. It did develop a few soft lumps in very humid weather, but otherwise it seemed pretty stable. Look up the detergent manufacturer on the Internet, and see if their customer service people can give you a more detailed answer....Show more

Hubert Jestes: I have sensitivities, so I hear ya. The good news is at a regular grocery store, Wal*Mart, or wherever, you can get the All (brand) Free & Clear. There are no perfumes or dye in it. I have been using it for nearly a decade? However long since I discovered it. Also, instead of just re-rinsing (which would add to your cost of laundry), you could add a little white vinegar to the rinse cycle. The vinegar cuts the soap and helps to get it all out. Also, avoid using fabric softener on your underthings. I don't use fabric soft! ener at all! I've been very happy with just using the vinegar ! in my rinse cycle, the All Free & Clear (although I have taken to adding essential oils for smell and deodorizing benefits), and no softener or dryer sheets! You could also try Dreft, which is what's made for babies. But that would probably cost more than the All Free & Clear. I believe Tide also makes a perfume and dye free detergent. They are more widely available-- just read the labels and sniff-check. Best wishes!~C.S.p.s.The products I've mentioned are available in U.S. grocery stores and Wal*Mart, and I think Target, too. You could probably find smaller versions at a pharmacy. They are likely not available at the laundry-mat....Show more
