Maritza Ebanks: Well any craft store sells stuff like popsickle sticks wooden spoons wooden spools and such.. They also sell wicker woven baskets wicker rounds and you can buy sisel rope and things of that nature there ... All are fine for birds as long as they arent treated or dyed your good to go.. You can also buy acrylic pieces as well from there .. If you want to build a cheap toy for them to demolish go to Home Depot or the equivelent and buy a piece of untreated pine take it home and cut either holes in it or cut off pieces of it to string onto something else.. depending on what type of bird you have this should last awhile.. you can even get heavy beads and string those through the pine block then drill a hole in the top and attatch a bird safe hook and hang it in thier cage or on the playstand makes a clever cheap toy that they will love to chew on...Be creati! ve and good luck...Show more
