Emery Blando: Health wise? Not much, because I gained a lot of weight after High School. Since then I've lost 80 lbs though (after gaining it) =(. I know I should try to eat healthier as a vegetarian and take a more active role in what I eat and how I prepare it.Morally? Sooooo much better. I can't believe in the past knowing how much pain and suffering I was responsible for. Just because I'm not doing it personally, doesn't mean that the animal isn't in pain. I know about supply and demand. When I eat meat, I would be demanding it. Since I'm not demanding it anymore, none of those animals are suffering now. I'm saving hundreds every year. =)That makes me feel very good.

Joan St! avropoulos: I find that I enjoy food a LOT more. I have to eat a wider variety of foods to get the nutrients I need, thus discovering tasty combinations that I never would have considered as a meat eater. Today I made broccoli & cheese stuffed shells, yogurt with fruit & granola... yesterday I had broccoli fettuccini alfredo, a smoothie with yogurt, fruit, soy milk & protein powder, eggs & potatoes... I also get to eat vegetables all day long since they are low in calories and high in nutrition =) [luckily, eating is one of the things I do best] I have a lot more energy to work out at the gym, but I notice that I sleep a lot deeper and a lot longer than before (been sleeping through my alarm lately...)

Todd Stogner: actually, it depends. i remember reading that vegans can't eat animal crackers because they contain animal ingredients. i can't for the life of me remember what it is that they contain though. i found a website that has a list of animal products that people don't usually realize are animal products.i went home and looked it up. apparently animal crackers are made with whey, so vegetarian! s can eat them but vegans can't.

The! resia Fashaw: Actually Hitler was not a vegetarian. I was suggested to ! Hitler, by his doctor, that he should not consume meat do to his stomach problems, but he continued anyway. It has also been said that Hitler's vegetarianism may have just been devised by propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels, to make the ruthless dictator seem like an ascetic without vices who neither drank, nor smoked, nor ate meat, and was devoted above all to his people.Great website to explain wy omni's are always trying to use this argument, found it very insightful and truehttp://michaelbluejay.com/veg/hitler.htmlI love the Franklin point, its so true....Show more
