Chastity Doderer: They might. But NO plastic. They could die if they eat it. I suggest using online stores. You can't trust pet stores. Some breeders sell toys. Here is a link to help find a breeder near you.http://www.chinchillaclub.com/breeder/And here are some online stores.....http://www.chinchillapetstore.com/http://www.chinchillas.com/estore/http://www.chinchilladepot.com/http://www.chinworld.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvThere are more out there but these are just a few. Jammie Taddei: Chinchilla Toy
Vickie Sterbenz: Most ferret toys have plastic or other toxic materials. You'd have to check over it extremely carefully. A lot of bird toys will keep them entertained, just make sure there's no plastic or deadly wood. Some chins aren't big on chewing, but this is rare. If you know FOR SURE that your chin isn't a chewer, then plastic tubes and houses will be okay, but never toys, because even my most unlikely to chew chin will eat up h! er toys.
Gaylord Barragan: you have to be careful what you give chins, alot of items are toxic to them. i have a site i just put up, so at the moment there are not many actual toys, but i should have some up very soon. i do have some chew items available, and they are all chin safe. i also have some info there and on it is the safe and unsafe wood list for chins. you always want to know what a toy is made out of. never give them any ferret toys.. some other rodent toys are safe but not all of them..here is my site. {there are alot of other types of supplies too} if you have any questions, email me.. http://www.tjschinchillasupplies.comand like i said, i should have some hanging toys up no later than a week from now, but possible 2 days.. so check back....Show more
